About

FD_edited_edited.jpg
Heather Watson is a musician and educator, born in Oklahoma and currently living in Wellfleet. Her music is a reflection on her upbringing, the communities around her, and her work as a music therapist. She believes in access to the arts for every person regardless of socioeconomic status or neurotype.

Heather uses music as both a solitary practice and a community builder. You can find her playing on her own, with folk duo Fortunate Daughter, trio Tinfoil Hat, and other dear friends and neighbors. These collaborations bring an eclectic mix to the music she plays with influences from country, roots, blues, rock, and more.

In addition to performing, Heather connects with communities through songwriting workshops, private lessons, and music therapy services. She is a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) and Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) practicing in the state of Massachusetts. Learn more about her available services here and her community collaborations below.
